NetSpeed Mini Privacy Policy
NetSpeed Mini is designed to show live network speed without collecting personal data. This policy explains what the app processes locally and how support communications are handled.
Scope and controller
This policy applies to the NetSpeed Mini macOS app and its support channel. The controller is Beijing Woyu Technology Co., Ltd. This policy does not replace Apple's policies for the Mac App Store.
The app does not collect personal data
NetSpeed Mini does not require an account and contains no advertising, analytics, telemetry, tracking, or third-party data-collection SDKs. The app does not send network speed, device identifiers, usage records, or other app data to us or to third parties.
Information processed locally
To calculate live speed, the app reads the total bytes received and sent by the Mac's current primary network interface and compares consecutive samples. These counters are processed in memory on the device. They are not uploaded or stored in a remote database.
Network content is not inspected
The app reads byte totals only. It does not capture packets or inspect websites, domains, browsing history, messages, files, or the contents of any network traffic.
Launch at login
If you enable Launch at Login, the preference is registered and managed by macOS through Apple's Service Management framework. You can turn it off in the app or in System Settings. We do not receive this preference.
Sharing and retention
Because the app does not collect or upload personal data, there is no app data for us to sell, share, retain, or delete on our servers. In-memory measurements are discarded when the app stops. Purchases and distribution through the Mac App Store are handled by Apple under Apple's own terms and privacy policy.
Support communications
If you email us for support, we process your email address, message, and any information or attachments you choose to provide so that we can respond and resolve the issue. Please do not send unrelated sensitive personal information. Support records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for support, security, dispute handling, or legal obligations.
Children
The app is a general-purpose utility and is not directed specifically to children. It does not knowingly collect personal data from children or other users.
Policy changes
If the app's functions or data practices change, we will update this policy and its effective date. We will also keep the App Store privacy information consistent with the current released version.
